Sounds like Resortquest units are not so great.
We are looking for 2 condos in the Banyan that would sleep 5 - so far vrbo looks like the best choices.
Has anyone booked a condo rental with Hawaiian Dream? Website is www.hawaiiandreamvacations.com
stayinhawaii looked good but their units sleep 4 max.
Any other suggestions?

Banyan rental suggestions?Info on Hawaiian Dream Vacations?I have stayed at the Waikiki Banyan and would definitely recommend it. We booked our condo through vacationrentals.com though. I have not heard of Hawaiidreamvacations.com so I have no comment there. As far as using stayinwaikiki, I booked a condo through this gentleman whose name is Thomas Edwards and would highly recommend him. He and his staff took great care in making sure our needs were met.
As far as the rooms at the Banyan go, the condo we stayed in had 2 beds in the bedroom as well as a sofa sleeper in the living room. Have you considered calling Mr. Edawrds from stayinwaikiki and see how many beds they have in their condo? They may only be considering the beds and not the sofa?
