Best Luau

Good Morning. My husband and I will be on the big island in April and staying at the Marriott. We are using this as our honeymoon trip. He has never been to Hawaii before so I want to make sure he gets a good feeling for the island.

With that being said.. can anyone tell me what luau is supposed to be the ';best'; for two adults?

Friday aha鈥榓ina called Savai鈥榠.

I attended the luau at the Marriott (Waikoloa) in January %26#39;08 and I really liked it.

Since I am a Polynesian Dancer here in California, I have been doing alot of reading about the luaus near Kona. For us (well, particularly for me,) it is all about the show and we are willing to pay more for the better show. Due to all of the reviews that we have read - we will be going to the Kona Village Luau on the Friday night that we are there. I have read nothing but good things about both nights. But since I also dance Tahitian, I am looking forward to the Friday night event which covers more of Polynesia. Although, I have no doubt the traditional hula show would also be fantastic.
