Is it possible to see a cultural show without going to a luau? Maybe a restaurant that has live entertainment?
We would like to see a show, maybe more than one, but are not interested in the typical overpriced buffet food that accompanies the luau%26#39;s.
We are staying in south Kihei for 2 weeks in April.
What are our options?

cultural shows
Perhaps the Ulalena show in Lahaina would fit the bill.
cultural shows
I LOVED Ulalena. I%26#39;d like to go again if DH would agree. Heck, I should just pop over to Maui and go solo.
Last year my wife %26amp; I attended Ulalena not having high expectations. We have seen quite a few shows of this type. Kind of a Cirque du Soleil type show with a cultural story behind it. We were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the entire show. We both commented that the show kept us entertained and we would recommend it.
Thank you, that sounds interesting, we%26#39;ll look into it.
I was actually thinking of something more like a hula show at a regular restaurant where we could order off a menu. Anything like that around?
