Best Luau on Maui???

Looking for opinions on which luau is the best.

If you have been recently...let me know your opinion...where to go...or more importantly...where not to go.

Best Luau on Maui???

We attended the Old Lahaina Luau about a year ago- really enjoyed it. It was very classy and well put together. We were able to see the Sheraton luau from our lanai, and it seemed much more cheesy and corny (Aloooooooooooooooo-ha!!) I think it depends on what you want, but the OLL really is a professional group.

Feast at Lele

I think these 2 are the best.

If you want a more intimate setting, try the feast at Lele, but BOTH are VERY good.

Drums of the Pacific at the Hyatt has the best fire knife dancer on Maui.

Feast at Lele is excellent.

Old Lahaina Luau is decent but no fire knife dancer.

Royal Lahaina Luau is OK. Perhaps the best budget luau as there are many coupons %26amp; a kids menu in addition to a traditional luau menu. Don%26#39;t go to this one if you are not taking kids as they can be distracting.

We prefer the Old Lahaina Luau... beautiful grounds, staff all seem to enjoy working there and the food is better than most (IMO). The OLL show concentrates on that which is Hawaiian... and no tourists dragged up on the stage to wear grass skirts and coconut bras. They sell out nightly, so make reservations early (seats are first come, first assigned).

Are there ';better'; seats that I should ask for when I make my reservation?

We just went to Old Lahaina Luau last week and it was terrific. So well organized, great food, terrific staff, greeted with lei%26#39;s and mai tai%26#39;s at the door...can%26#39;t go wrong. We sat at a table...if you think your legs can handle it...you can sit at the more traditional mat style tables which are situated right around the stage. Pretty decent seating for the show no matter where you are though!

Unless you%26#39;re very flexible and have a good back I wouldn%26#39;t recommend the floor seating. Remember, you%26#39;ll be sitting there for a couple of hours. The tables are back a bit but are raised and have good views. The earlier you book, the better seats you can get.

When we were in Maui in %26#39;04, we went to luau in Wailea %26amp; OLL. BOTH were good but OLL defintely better.

Went to Feast at LeLe this past Thurs.

In my opinion, food was by far best at Feast at LeLe. Enjoyed ALL shows but OLL was best.

We loved the Feast at Lele. We booked about 4 weeks in advance and got front row seating. Food and service was great!
