Oahu Hotels

My husband and I are going to Oahu from 4/19/08 to 4/26/08. We have a free 4 night stay at Oahu East Hotel with the option to upgrade to the Wyland Waikiki. Any comments or suggestions?

We also have to figure out where to stay for the other 3 nights we%26#39;re going to be there. Does anyone have suggestions on a reasonably priced hotel or condo?

hi

do you mean the ohana east hotel? the wyland was renovated last year or so but have not stayed there. the ohana east is pretty centrally located in waikiki.we stay at the royal grove hotel a small family owned place it is very cheap by waikiki standards but is not for everyone it is old but clean and has no bells and whistles[lol] like some of the hotels in waikiki but it makes hawaii affordable for us we went last year for the first time and are returning in sept.check into resortquest they have some reasonable hotel and condo properties in waikiki,we looked at the resortquest waikiki circle and also celebrity resorts waikiki is very reasonable, but decided to give the royal grove a try and are glad we did.if we wanted acondo i would give the waikiki banyan or the waikiki sunset a try both of these are resortquest properties and you can also rent thru vrbo too which could be cheaper

good luck marie

We never stayed at the Wyland-but heard good comments about it from the locals-we were in Waikiki area last week. It has been renovated, and is,or about to open-you may get a deal, contact them on the net.It is onLewer street-just off the main drag-there are lots of good eateries there, you willbe a block from the famous Halekulani on the beach.
