Does anyone have any suggestions as to where you could essentially shower and change prior to a LONG flight home?
We are staying in a private condo in Kapalua and we must depart at 11am as new renters are arriving that same day.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Mahalo!

Forced checkout @ 11am...Flight at 9:50pm...HELP!
We have had this problem every time we traveled to Hawaii.
We usually reserve the last day for less strenuous activities like Iao State Park, last minute shopping, a long dinner, and maybe watching surfers at Ho%26#39;okipa. That way you might not feel the need to
shower before hitting the airport. We always joke about ';showering'; at one of the beaches near the restrooms where you rinse off from the salt water, but we%26#39;ve never done that!

I think i would either try to find a condo through VRBO that isn%26#39;t rented for that day, and ask owner if you can rent it for the day. Or I would go hang out in one of the bigger Hotel Lobbies. You can have a drink, a bite to eat, and they have washrooms in which you could at least brush your teeth.
Many of the entrances to the Hotel from the beach has a shower to rinse off the sand. Just don%26#39;t go near the pool.
Why not do some shopping and then a spa treatment later in the day. You can use the spa facilities to change and freshen up before the flight home.
Aloha jamesh74,
If you are staying in any of the Kapalua Villas...The Ridge, The Bay or The Golf, you should have Ritz Carlton privileges and that includes use of the pool and may include use of the lockers and shower area. I would explain the situation and see if you can get a few hour extension on use of the Ritz facilities. The Ritz really tries to accommodate the Villa guests. You can check on that by calling Jinny Dean Yap at the Ritz Carlton. If you play tennis, the Kapalua Tennis Club has great showers and locker rooms. Hope you can work it out, good luck.
Before I learned a few things we had this problem - we checked out and went to Iao after beach, then to mall for last minute shopping near the airport and had dinner and washed up....
You can always wash up in the airport after you pass security
Others have checked into less expensive hotel near airport.... some just hit the beach and scrub up there...
Like some others, I would plan on shopping, eating, driving, or less sweaty, salty activities and just take a shower as usual in the morning. With that said, I%26#39;d make the most of beach time earlier in the week so you don%26#39;t feel like you%26#39;re missing something on the last day.
Have you considered Priceline? The Aston Maui Lu has been coming up as a 2* with winning bids at about $70. The reviews are not very good, but if you are just looking for a place to store your bags and shower, then it shouldn%26#39;t be so bad. Just a thought.
Thankyou all for the suggestions...Any more ideas are appreciated in advance!
The Aston Maui Lu is a great suggestion. Can%26#39;t you discuss your situation with the ';owners'; (or whatever) of your private condo? It appears from your post that%26#39;s not an option, no?
(I have gone home after a ';best I could wash off at the outside pool showers';. I find, with a full last day shower or a good wash off, I still find some Maui sand in some most special places after I return home.)
Consider it just one more Maui souvenir! :)
