Booking Condo on VRBO - is it ok ??

Hi, took some advice on this forum and checked out some Condos. Want to book one. Little bit worried I might lose my money. Any comments ? is it trustworthy ?? Looking at a Condo at the Waikiki Banyan...........

Roxy, I have booked 2 vacations( 1 using vrbo.com and 1 using vacationrentals.com) with no problems. Our last trip we also stayed at the Banyan and loved it. I have been a viewer and poster on this site and cannot recall seeing comments from people who have booked through the sites I mentioned ever saying anything about losing money or being untrustworthy.

In fact, our last trip there was a problem with the condo we rented and the manager of the condo(who is also a real estate agent on the island) went out of his way to make sure that we were taken care of. He even got us a better condo than the one he had originally put us in.

I%26#39;ve used vrbo for a couple or three bookings in the past couple of years. Never a problem. It was suggested in an earlier thread that you book only where the owner accepts credit cards just to be covered.

i have booked condos thru VRBO several times in Hawaii, Colorado Canada and Paris and always had great luck. Never been disappointed and never had a money problem.
