Honeymoon: Can you help me?

Hi,

I am going on Pride of Aloha for my honeymoon in July. Can someone help me with my itinerary? Please tell me what you think. We are looking for something exciting, we are both adventerous and are physically active. We would like to keep our driving time to a minimal.

Kauai- Looking to do some sort of zip lining-going through Backcountry. We aren%26#39;t sure how to get there, are there cabs at the dock? We also would like to do the Luau Kalamaku.

Hilo- Rent car. Go to as many possible: VNP, akara falls, lava tube, rainbow falls, kilauea valcanoe. Anything we should definately do? Anything on the list that we should skip?

Kona- Captain Zodiac Raft and Snorkel (in Kealakekua Bay) or possibly snorkel by ourselves (any recs?) and spend the rest of the day at the beach. Good company? Should I try another?

Maui- Downhill Bike Tour and Winery (wine after bike, hopefully). Not sure what to do with the next morning or the rest of the day, any suggestions?

Honolulu- Pearl Harbor through NCL. Will they hold our luggage?

What does everyone think? Is there anything I am missing that is a ';must do';? Any places for dinner that we must go to? Sorry to seem so unsure but this is the first vacation I%26#39;ve ever planned, I want it to be great! Thanks in advance!

Honeymoon: Can you help me?

Aloha Lindsay! Well, one question - how much time do you have when you are on each of the islands?? That might help people in telling you what you can plan to do.

If you are interested in doing a helicopter tour, Kauai would be thee island to do that on - incredible scenery, especially since most of the island is inaccessible by road.

I would rent a car in Kauai as well - really the only way to get around. July is a perfect time to visit the Northshore - beaches are wonderful, great for swimming and snorkeling. You could also go explore the Waimea canyon, but if you take a helicopter tour, that wouldn%26#39;t be as necessary. Probably the best rated luau is Smith%26#39;s luau on Kauai. Get the Ultimate Kauai Revealed to help you with your planning.

Maui has great beaches - you might just want to hang on the beach/snorkel. If you like to shop/see art galleries, Lahaina is fun to explore.

You might get more replies making specific posts on the specific forums. Good luck! :)

Lindsay, you might want to check with NCL about the status of the Pride of Aloha. I read on cruise critic website that there are plans to take the Pride of Aloha out of Hawaii in May of 2008. There is an article in the news on www.cruisecritic.com concerning this issue. Might be good to check on this.
