Luau's on Maui?

We%26#39;re going to be spending a week in Maui and a week in Kauai and we%26#39;d like to go to 1 luau.

Smith%26#39;s on Kauai seems to get a lot of recommendations. Does anybody have any good recommendations for a Maui luau?

Luau's on Maui?

This is a site that has the best luau%26#39;s on Maui.

Most on this board say the most ';authentic'; is Old Lahaina luau. Then the Hyatt Maui luau has the only fire dancer on Maui or either the best. It is supposed to be the best all around. Then the Feast at Le Le is supposed to have the best food a sort of gourmet luau. So it depends on what you are looking for. You can even look up the menus they are all posted on line. It depends on what you are looking for. Old Lahaina luau doesn%26#39;t a fire dancer. The top are those 3 as far as I know.

Drums of the Pacific has the best fire knife dancer on Maui.

Feast at Lele is a good luau.

Old Lahaina Luau is decent but no fire knife dancer. It is the only luau on Maui that does not have a fire knife dancer.

Royal Lahaina Luau is OK. Perhaps the best value as there are a lot of discounts. They also have a kids menu in addition to a typical luau menu. If you are not taking kids, stay away from this one as kids can be distracting.

None of the commercial luaus are authentic.

The Feast at Lele is really special. It has the food and entertainment of a luau, but with your own table and table service. The view at sunset is incredible.
