my bf is a steak eater (i dont care much for it seafood is my weakness)and i would love to find a nice romantic steakhouse for our first night there.

we%26#39;re staying in lahaina,my bf took me to the one here at home and food was great.

maybe we can make it an early dinner on one of the days that we decide to explore the island,then we can return to lahaina and find a place for drinks.

The food was good, but it is way over priced, even for Maui standards.

It%26#39;s not exactly a steak house, but Kimo%26#39;s in Lahaina has an amazing prime rib - plus great fresh fish for you! We just went there last week and loved it. Not that romantic though. Maybe if you go right at sunset and ask for a table on the water!

We ate at Ruth%26#39;s in Lahaina. I wouldn%26#39;t call it romantic really. It is on the main road, not on the ocean side. The food was decent but not great. We are Ruth%26#39;s fans and have eaten in many of their restaurants around the US, but this on was only so/so.

we enjoyed Ruth%26#39;s Chris in lahaina. If you get there early enough you can watch the sun set over the ocean.Get a table by the window
