Hyatt Tour of the Stars: Do you have to be a Hyatt guest??

It sounds like you have to be staying at the Hyatt to do this tour. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks.

Hyatt Tour of the Stars: Do you have to be a Hyatt guest??

I was wondering the same thing....anyone?

Hyatt Tour of the Stars: Do you have to be a Hyatt guest??

Aloha! My husband and I are in Maui now and just booked this and we are NOT staying at the Hyatt. The price for a non-Hyatt guest is $30 ($25 for Hyatt guest). I%26#39;ll be posting at a later point how we like it!

Thanks. Did you book the tour with champagne and chocolate strawberries or the regular one? Did you have to book in advance?

What is Tour of the Stars?

Please let us know how it is..we are thinking of doing this in March...thank you...

Here is copied from HYATT website:

Tour of the Stars

A Cosmic Experience!

Experience the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa%26#39;s very own rooftop astronomy program!

More than 1,000 years ago, voyaging Polynesians were guided to the Hawaiian Islands with the help of the stars. Now you can view those stars and much more using Hawaii%26#39;s only recreational telescope, ';Great White';. This 16-inch reflector telescope sits more than nine stories up, on a remote site of the hotel rooftop. Our Director of Astronomy uses a computer to select an agenda, locate and identify 1,000 objects in the sky including stars, planet, galaxies and nebulae. Participants first learn to interpret the sky with the unaided eye, then with giant astronomy binoculars, and ultimately with %26#39;Great White';.

Tour of the Stars

Share this unique cosmic experience with your family and create a memory to last a lifetime

Price: $20 per person/Hyatt Guest, $10 per child/Hyatt Guest

Show times: 8:00 p.m., 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on the hotel rooftop.

Seating is limited to ten ';gazers'; to allow optimum viewing. Advance reservations suggested.

Romance Tour of the Stars

For a romantic end to a perfect day in paradise, share champagne and chocolate covered strawberries during the ';couples only'; Tour of the Stars.

Price: $25 per person/Hyatt Adult Guest

Show times: 11:00 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays

Thanks for this post. We stayed at the Hyatt last time and we really want to stay there this time but can get the Sheraton for 500 cheaper for the week and the Westin for 300 dollars cheaper.

But we are doing a few activities at the Hyatt one being The Tour of the Stars. It was the high light of our honeymoon. We didn%26#39;t know if you could be a non guest and go because the web site doesn%26#39;t say it just gives prices for guests.

I agree foodie as i think its for guests of Hyatt only

Hi all..

I just got off the phone with the Hyatt Concierge Desk...you do NOT have to be a Hyatt guest.

Hyatt Tour of the Stars

The evening showing will be $30 per person.

TH Romance couples only show is $35 per person.

You will need to hold reservation with a credit card...but it will not be charged until that night.

However, you would need to cxl 48hrs prior for no penalty.

Thanks everyone. Looks like I%26#39;ll be signing up for this--sounds great!

FYI--I too talked to the concierge. She said to book two to three days ahead of time by calling the number listed on the previous post.
