Sailing/BoatingSightseeing on the NaPali coast of Kauai

I am planning a vacation to Kauai on 4/28 - 5/3 this year and need some help choosing a company to go sailing with to the NaPali coast. We are staying in Poipu and I know that most, if not all leave from Port Allen, but I am stumped as to which company is the best. I do want to apologize for not knowing much about boats, so please bear with me.

I was thinking that sailing up the coast and then attempting snorkeling was the best option. Can anyone enlighten me on which would be best? Thank you so much!

Thank you for your response. I did look at the threads that you pointed out, but I was really looking for some comments of people who had been on a tour that they really liked!! And since I know I want to sail out of Port Allen, all of the info on the north shore sailing companies is irrelevant. Can anyone help?

I just gave that last bit of advice for people interested in sails out of Hanalei.

I have done both Capt Andy%26#39;s and HoloHolo and they are both good.

I did the Na Pali Explorer. They leave out of Waimea (about 30 minutes from Poipu). Fun %26amp; a really good captain. Kind of made me nervous to be out in 8+ swell but the guy in charge knew exactly how to read the waves.
