Hello! Can you confirm if there are any onsite car rentals at the airport or if you must shuttle offsite to pick up your car?
Thanks!
On-site car rental at airport?
Shuttle off site. It is only a 2 minute ride at the most and the shuttles come by every few minutes. Not a big deal at all.

The major car rental companies are on the airport property and you will pay a tax because of that. From the terminal you take a shuttle to the lots themselves -- less than a mile, I%26#39;d say.
Thought I%26#39;d add a little hint:
Leave the rest of your party standing at the curb (outside of baggage claim)....you take the shuttle...pick up the car...drive around to pick them up at the curb.
This way you dont have to take bags on and off the shuttle.
As everyone has said it is a 2 min. ride to the cars

how do you handle it if there is one other person in your party and you want them listed as the 2nd driver -- they have to be present at the counter
NOT with National Emerald Club! Did it at OGG
in January--I got car, came back and collected spouse and luggage. Same at KOA.
So Bud, would you say that the rental agencies are on site but you will need to take a shuttle to reach the different agencies? What does on-site mean? I have flown into the Ontario, CA airport and the rental cars are on airport grounds but the shuttle ride is pretty significant.
Same at Phoenix. The airport owns the property but it%26#39;s about a 10 minute bus ride.
lougee,
Avis doesn%26#39;t require the second driver to be present either. You just need to give them the person%26#39;s name.
