planning on staying at the lahaina shore resort in may, does anyone know how far or close the old lahaina luau is from our condo?is it walking distance?
luau location?
If I have the location of Lanhaina Shore Resort correct, the OLL is completely on the opposite side of Lahaina!! Way too far to walk. The OLL is located behind the Lahaina Cannery Mall, where Safeway is located.
luau location?
Yes it is behind the Safeway and too far of a walk=)
thanks for your quick response
Lahaina Shores is next to 505 Front Street, OLL is at 1287 Front St. That is about a mile and a half. You decide if that is too far.
There are always cabs waiting outside of the OLL when it lets out.
You are pretty far away from the Old Lahaina. It is a long walk, about 1 1/2 miles. However, you are directly next door to a luau that I think is vastly superior, the Feast at Lele. 100 guests instead of 350. Table service of quality food instead of a buffet of afterthought food. The dancers are wonderful, with fire dancing at the end. I would skip Old Lahaina, and just walk the two minutes to the Feast at Lele.
feast of lele(spelling?) was my first choice but my bf is a very very picky eater so oll would be a better choice for us.we are renting a car for our entire stay so transportation shouldnt be a problem.thanks!
Another choice would be Luau at the Hyatt on Kaanapali Beach. The food was very good and the picky eater in our party had no problems. We were more comfortable there too. They pack you in like sardines at OLL. Hyatt you have more elbow room and the location is ocean front.
do you remember what the price was per ticket? i%26#39;ve been to a few but this is my bf first time in hawaii so i want him to experience a nice luau.
You really should go to the Feast at Lele! Its the best luau Ive been to on Maui. We stayed at Lahaina Shores and its great as its only a minutes walk away as well.
I dont see how anyone could not like the food, there was about 5 or 6 courses so there is plenty to choose from.
trust me he will find something if not everything wrong with the food, first of all he%26#39;s not a seafood eater, the only thing he likes is fried breaded shrimp.thanks but i think it would be just a waste of $$$ if we would go so i think the oll would be a better option.
